How do I type in Sanskrit?
Rysa includes a custom Sanskrit keyboard that supports IAST, Devanagari, Telugu, Malayalam, and other Indian scripts. Simply tap any text field and the keyboard will appear on mobile, or use the composer tools on desktop.
How do I switch between scripts?
Use the palm leaf icon in the composer to toggle Sanskrit mode and switch between scripts. Your content automatically displays in your preferred script.
Is Rysa free to use?
Yes, Rysa is free to use. We're building a community for Sanskrit speakers and learners worldwide.
Can I use the dictionary offline?
The mobile app includes offline support for core features. Dictionary lookups require an internet connection for the most up-to-date definitions.
